Alaska Wounded Warrior Hunt
Every year, we round up Wounded Warriors to offer a donated Wounded Warrior Hunt! 2016 WOUNDED WARRIOR HUNT will include celebrities such as Ralph Tamm (Two time Super Bowl Champion and currently working with the Denver Broncos), Craig Morgan (Country Music Artist), Matt Hughes ( Nine time UFC Welterweight Campion), and hunting and outdoor writer Jim Zumbo!
Over the last 10 years, we have been proud to partner with many Wounded Warrior events in Alaska. 2016 was special because we hosted a hunt for six days with six soldiers out of Homer, Alaska for a Wounded Warrior Hunt- Alaska style! All six were disabled veterans. Spending a week with these individuals out in the field helped cement what I already know: our freedom is not free. These men and women, and countless others have put themselves in harms way to ensure our freedom and defend our country.
My wife and I have three sons. All three of our boys are in the U.S Marines Corps. One is serving overseas, one is stationed stateside, and the youngest departs for boot camp in May. Support for our armed forces is indeed close to my heart.
I have partnered with Safari Club International and one other nonprofit from Texas- Military Warriors Support Foundation, to put together an auction item dedicated toward putting wounded soldiers in the field on hunting and fishing trips all over the U.S.
The live auction will be held on February 27, 2016 in Anchorage, Alaska at the SCI banquet. This event always draws a big crowd. 100% percent of the proceeds from this auction item will go directly toward putting soldiers in the field, not for administrative fees!
